Majority Rules. It does not matter what the answer is. If the majority vote for it, that’s what is ‘correct’. What was considered scandalous last century is now passé. Drugs and alcohol. Premarital sex. Live-in relationships. It does not matter what it is. As long as the majority approves, it is considered accepted. Doesn’t majority define democracy? It is the binary rule that influences decision-making. Everything goes when more than 50% agree. Seems rather fair. But then when we have Trump and the likes winning, shouldn’t we question the sanity behind it? Does the majority still rule?

“But EVERYONE is going to the party Dad!”, she said beseechingly with her beautiful eyes. Her look said ‘You are ‘uncool’, a tyrant and a sadist’. “No chance,” said her dad. Sorry but we cannot allow a bunch of unsupervised teenagers’ party at a remote farmhouse. “I don’t care if the majority of the parents are ok with it, I have one daughter and she is not going anywhere”. There was intense grieving. Came to know that the ‘majority’ of the parents had been informed that the ‘majority’ had agreed. It had been a centralized strategy. Teenagers!
